Mama Auctions is a 2 year project that finally made it's debut in June 2010. Friends and family encouraged owner, Sharon, to open an online auction site due to her years of experience on promotion, website design/hosting, and working with work at home moms. Sharon has successfully helped hundreds of work at home moms (and other women in business) succeed by helping them get their business online through advertising and website/graphic design. She specializes in the work at home industry.

For several years Sharon has dreamed of owning an online auction site and wanted to make it something that moms could afford. The pricing on Mama Auctions was carefully thought out and is based on her years of experience of buying/selling online. Mama Auctions is not a niche site as the name may suggest; Sharon is a work at home mom and has catered to the work at home mom industry for well over 3 years, Mama Auctions was just a name she thought of that could continue to help moms gain the exposure they deserve online. Don't let the name full you though, anyone can sell on Mama Auctions as long as you have a product or service to sell, but it is Sharon's hope that moms will benefit the most out of the site.
